The ‘peace’ and ‘quiet’ within the darkness
What used to be home now seems just like madness
When or where it went I simply cannot say
Though still trying to decide on which side to sway
The voices, oh the voices, dominant they were
Dissolving like smoke driven before the wind fierce
She stands, disregarding the restraining chains
Her new found peace, the darkness has turned against
He used to be her lover, caressing and loving
His cruel attentions her twisted mind was enjoying
Alas, morning has come and light fills her mind
Not anymore! Her lover has taken flight
Dawn is here, the scent of change saturates the air
Her peaceful turmoil, finally terminated.

ReplyDeleteGood one. :D
ReplyDeleteLet see how this gels with Ur idea:
ReplyDelete.....
With thoughts baked of aloofness,
He exploits and tampers her weakness,
Tenderly and cruelly the lewdest,
Without minding her interest!
With hopes starved of goodness,
He groans and roams in darkness,
Thundering and wandering in detest,
Wondering when the Sun will shine its brightest?
With conscience haunted by sadness,
He ruminates and speculates in silence,
Tinkering and shrieking in unrest,
When will he see his dearest?
